Weeks posts
As we approach the final weeks of the most important election of our lives, I’ve thought long and hard about different ways to make an impact. Through research and discussion, I came across an inspiring public art campaign designed to encourage voter participation by artists and activists @lenawolffstudio and @hopemengdesign .   Since 2018, Lena & Hope have made the most beautiful vote posters, distributing tens of thousands of them throughout the country.  This cycle, they partnered with @saveartspace , a 501(c)(3) to put up billboards in battleground states. They currently have billboards up or coming in Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Nevada, Georgia, Nevada, and Arizona.  I’ve personally funded two reproductive freedom billboards and have decided to help them fundraise so we can get as many billboards up as possible before the election. We have until October 14th to raise money, as billboards take about 2 weeks to go up. I hope you will consider making a donation to @SaveArtSpace via the link in my bio! If you’re interested in funding an entire billboard, please DM Lena or Hope for more information.

Oak galls collected in Petaluma to make black ink. My new obsession. Looking forward to buying less pre-made art materials in the future and teaching people about what I've learned in upcoming color workshops. Thank you @torontoinkcompany for your book!
