I'm joined by the incredible @demarremcgill and @jacobrshack . This concert of trios features composers who call two places home and share close connections to Germany.

Spent 24 hours in Rochester last week and am reminded that it's important to surround yourself with people who support each other, cheer each other on, and focus on making the world a better place. And be this kind of person!!

Setting the scene for @tedsoluri 's beautiful solo in Stravinsky's Firebird. I recommend doing this section in flats for two reasons: better resonance and you avoid the color change of a wire string.

TAILLEFERRE X STRAVINSKY
It's no secret that composer Germaine Tailleferre was influenced by Igor Stravinsky, but the similarity between her harp concertino and the harp part in Petrushka is wild. So of course I had to do a mashup.
