Ancestral Visions of the Future: ..And time, seen as circular: it unfolds not in a hurried march along straight lines, but in a sacred circle, defying the rigid tyranny of clocks. It flows like the stories we tell—stories never meant to be bound to a single moment, but retold, re-imagined, shifting with each telling, like the cosmos itself.
This movie was my attempt to capture the spirit of a long line of African tradition, a language or non-language that knows no boundaries or permanence, nor ending, that can only be oral. I like to think of the work as something you don't get to watch; it denies you that privilege. And yet It seems to have found those who didn’t watch but felt it. Thank you.
