SIGNAL // NOISE….each year I try to come up with a slogan for my tour dates that describes that chapter of my life. Last year was about the feelings of being DIVIDED / EXPANDING. This year it’s about finding signal in the noise. Each day can feel overwhelming- you’re flooded with news, war, clickbait, non-stop ads, AI slop, pop-ups and superficial social media... But in the sea of static still lies the roots of humanity - shreds of goodness, connection and a deeper, slower art. This year I want to hone in on that signal ////// and amplify the hell out of it. the world these days is so full of noise it feels insane to exist most times… trying to be a human swimming in a sea of static i am often pessimistic (it seems to be my default that i have to actively work against), but one thing that always keeps me going is when a small shred of humanity shines through… people helping each other, artists making art, musicians making music. i wanted to make this year (and tour flyer name) about finding this.. a signal in the // noise. it is the mantra of @conduitcreative that “how we shape the world is what the world becomes” and i wanted to be shaping a clear signal, and amplifying others that are creating that as well. i write this on 3 hours of sleep about to board a flight to san francisco to purchase a sound system, to do a site visit for our next event there, and to build art / see friends. it’s what we do, and will keep doing where we can. M E L T is probably my favorite on this latest grouping of chaos works…and is somehow also one of the only songs i’ve ever made that genuinely makes me feel manic each time I hear it. It’s a feeling hard to describe: a huge surge of emotion in all directions, similar to how you might feel at the end of a good film… joy, sorrow, rage, loss, triumph, and melancholy. it’s a deep longing for being alive. i’d never expect anyone else to feel it as I do but it’s quite a unique creation to me personally in this sense 🌀 . . . #youuswethem #chaosworks #cinematic #cinematography #surreal #electronicmusic #electronicmusician

5 new tracks join my chaos works series today…a jumbled collection of moments, memories, and mania. a leak sprung in time listen all the way through if you can. the music is raw and sometimes messy, uncomfortable - but in so many ways it is my home. this is the music that flows out of me with virtually no effort, almost as if it’s not from me. in truth, I love it whether anyone listens or not. Chaos Works Vol II 🌊 we took these pictures in Topanga Canyon last year, one of my fav places on earth.

finding moments of joy in chaos 🌊 Chaos Works Vol 1 is here 💫 the Chaos Works series is my collection of sketches and improvisations, often little things I do late at night or when I wake up. Most of them are raw and imperfect vignettes and will forever stay that way. Those of you following along might notice a couple you recognize here but some of these had not been officially distributed until today.
