Our call for submissions for our 2nd edition of Docs-in-Progress is now open! Taking place during SFF 2026, three New England filmmakers will be selected to present up to 15 minutes of a nonfiction feature or short work-in-progress, followed by live feedback from a panel of industry professionals and audience members. Selected projects will receive a $500 travel stipend, 1-year IDA Doc Maker Membership, and all access festival badge, generously sponsored by the @lef_foundation ! Applications for the 2026-27 Film Study Center-LEF Foundation Fellowship are now open to Boston-area nonfiction filmmakers who are not affiliated with Harvard.
