only on a random autumn night in april came the realisation that this little film can see the sun once and for all… there’s no blue in that painting - the first film i ever directed for my film studies - is now online on youtube it stands etched in stone for reflecting on its successes, its flaws. but in its current form (and with hindsight) i am grateful that it is something to learn from. i’m so excited to show you what secrets and retrospections this film whispered to me and put them into the next project 🪽 thank you all cast and crew for baring with me as i learned on the go. thank you to all who donated to the fund. thank you to those who ask where to watch this even if we just met (it surprises me and makes my heart flutter) for now, in my terrified state, it exists it exists it exists 💙🪓 maybe there is blue in this painting after all

didn’t read as much last year as i usually do but here is my favourite book of 2025 alongside a diary entry with some (not all) of my ‘resolutions’ so to speak. resolutions as a word feels like it holds weight. these i am choosing to not call goals but hopefuls for fulfilment. happy 26 🎀

very surprised (?!) to hear that my graduate short film ‘there’s no blue in that painting’ is a top 10 finalist for the student category at @siiff_au 💙 i found out the news yesterday and later that night i saw a girl at my local bar who was a picturesque copy of eleanor - red button up, black skirt, mary jane heels, golden blonde hair highlighted in a warm glow. maybe that moment was a soft reminder or sign of her existence, if you will. revisiting this film is definitely a step back in time and has been the best educational source. thank you everyone who worked on this and bared with me learning on the go. hoping for another round 🎀

loved stepping into production design with @sallyosterberg1 for ‘dummy’, it was an absolute dream 💿 wishing to go back to 2004 (but at the age i am now so i have a frontal lobe developed enough to appreciate the era). definitely gained so much more admiration for art department after this shoot! thank you to @_nikitagomes @kiilla.kate and the whole dummy crew for being the absolute best to work with 💚
