@leelandxo ) final collection for the competition is a celebration of both his Scottish and Chinese roots. Armed with a touch of punk rock and a love of making fashion fun, the budding designer is just getting started.

@cravecanada this past January, when host and judge
@cocorocha stood in front of the three finalists (Mitchell, Charles Lu and Curtis Matysek) and announced that Toronto-based Mitchell had won, he was in complete shock. “At the end there, it really could have gone to any of us,” says Mitchell. “So when she said my name, I was shook. It even took me a second [to realize]—they cut it very well on-camera. I was in complete disbelief. I was shaking. I even looked over at Curtis, being like, ‘What!?’ It was an incredible moment that I will literally never forget. I still go back and watch that video and think ‘Did that happen?’ And, like, ‘I am a fashion designer.’”
