Episode 4 BTS @projectrunwaycanada Looking back, the whole day feels like a blur …in the best way. Doing @cocorocha hair and makeup in the chair for multiple hours, stepping out to grab BTS shots, watching her on stage with the contestants, filming social content … then heading home to reset and do it all again the next morning. And that’s just one of the two days we film for an episode, which means two completely different hair and makeup looks.
Watching these moments reminds me how much precision, teamwork, and quiet glam work goes into every episode. Here’s a little sneak peek in what went behind shooting this weeks episode!

I’ve been wearing a liquid winged liner since I was 13 and haven’t stopped since. What can I say … I’m a creature of habit. Makeup, to me, can be worn like a uniform something that just works no matter what. For me, that’s a winged liner and you can never make me stop!
It’s all about patience and precision. Take your time, go over the liner twice to build the color density you want, and remember … they’re sisters, not twins.

Back in 2021, during such a heavy and painful time in the world, I was interviewed by @thekitca about the rise in injustice against the Asian community, especially toward Asian women. It was deeply personal for me because I kept thinking about my mom and how hard she fought to come to this country to create a better life for our family.
I recently revisited a reel I made back then and used a piece of the audio from that interview where I spoke about my mom being my original influencer. She is the reason I fell in love with beauty and ultimately chose the career I’m in today.
Life is not perfect and neither is the relationship between a mother and daughter. There are good days and bad days, but in the end, even if it means going back to the country where it all started in Vietnam, we will always find our way back to each other. On this Mother’s Day, I just wanted to share with the world how much she has impacted my life.

Sunday beauty reset 🤍
I put my face through a lot during the week. Makeup, skincare, long days on set, late nights and honestly … carrying every emotion right on my face. So Sundays have become my little reset moment.
Trying out the @therabody TheraFace Mask Glo and first impression … I love how comfortable it feels. The velcro straps make it easy to adjust and actually keep it in place while the LED therapy and gentle scalp massage do their thing.
What makes this mask interesting is that it combines 504 red, infrared, and blue LED lights designed to help support collagen production, reduce inflammation, target breakouts, and improve overall skin radiance. It also includes a gentle scalp massage that helps increase circulation and relieve tension which honestly feels so good after a long week. After a long day on set with @ashleygalang … I decided to take a quick video of us as we are too busy on set to take any.
When I watch the video again I saw such a pure moment of joy and it’s hard to put into words, but safety.
I never take for granted these real moments.

Running on empty but still chasing glass skin!
Being nominated for Canadian Makeup Artist of the Year at the @cafawards felt surreal … but I was exhausted. Between travel, clients, and life, I needed my skin to show up before I did.
So I went to see @nurse__jo@thefacelabca Makeup is part of the prep, but skin is the foundation.
We did the Glass Skin MicroInfusion with a glutathione shot and a CO2Lift mask. The Face Lab focuses on stacking treatments, combining collagen stimulation, barrier support, and customized serums. Nurse Jo created a skin cocktail tailored to exactly what I needed!
Think deep hydration, brightening from within, and smooth skin that makes makeup sit better with less product.

I never got into Makeup and hair to ever get an award … but it was an honour just to be nominated for a @cafawards this year.
Even though I may have not won … I am surrounded by a Fashion community that supports, uplifts and will sing Britney Spears together and end the night with chicken nuggies and fries.
Shout out to my heart @cocorocha for being honoured for all that she has done for the industry and helped shaped the landscape of our work community making it a better and safer place. I am beyond proud of both you and @jamesedwardconran for always standing true for your convictions and beliefs.
To my girl @ashleygalang for receiving an award for stylist of the year … you so deserve this and more. If it was up to me … I would give you the friend of the year award as you are the kindest and most caring human I know.
Again, so beyond grateful for my job that has allowed me so many amazing opportunities but most importantly a group of people that are genuinely my heart.

Coming back from Vietnam with @steveparkhillfitness I already feel like I’m missing home.The first time we went in 2025 I felt something I could not explain … like I had finally returned to a place that already knew I was on my way back. Now 2026 that feeling has not changed.
There is something about being where my bloodline runs deep where strangers feel like neighbours and a warm bowl of pho is waiting for me with open arms.
Now back in Toronto life continues. Work is calling and the days go by quickly. But at least I can look back at the photos and remember that Vietnam is waiting for me to come back home … oh and bring Steve with me!
