Raw. Real. Unfiltered. Last night’s launch of Fadi A. Thabet’s Lens on Gaza: The Sun and Moon Still Rise was unforgettable. This isn’t just an exhibition, it’s a direct window into resilience, hope, and survival. No borders. Just humanity. The exhibition is only running for three weeks. Every penny raised supports Fadi and the children he works with on the ground in Gaza. 📍 Patrick Studios, East Street Arts 🗓️ Tues, Weds, Thurs (12pm - 4pm) until 9 May 🔗 Link in @eaststreetarts and @bethlehem_culturalfestival bios for details

✨ As part of Lens on Gaza, we’ve been working with artists to develop new work from our studios at Convention House, and we’re excited for everyone to see what they’ve been developing! Hafifa Ahmed, is an Arabic calligrapher, sculptor and installation artist whose practice moves between traditional craftsmanship and contemporary art. Her work explores text, memory and narrative - transforming language into visual forms that reflect identity, culture and transmission across generations. Working across calligraphy, sculpture and installation, Hafifa gives physical presence to intangible experience: the weight of memory, the rhythm of spoken word, and the stories carried through language. Her practice often opens out into workshops and participatory projects, inviting others to reflect on their own relationships to language, migration and oral histories. Find out more about Lens on Gaza: The Sun and the Moon Still Rise via the link in our bio. Artworks will be available to buy at the exhibition, with all proceeds from the workshop will be donated to Fadi A. Thabet, to support his work with communities in Gaza. ✨ As part of Lens on Gaza, we’ve been working with artists to develop new work from our studios at Convention House, and we’re excited for everyone to see what they’ve been developing! Khola Ilyas (@kholaandhercamera ), is a self-taught photographer using the medium to document, reflect and respond. From everyday moments to protest, her images hold space for emotion, urgency and lived experience - capturing what might otherwise be missed. Photography, for Khola, is both expression and record. A way to freeze time, tell stories, and contribute to something bigger through visibility and action. Find out more about Lens on Gaza: The Sun and the Moon Still Rise via the link in our bio.
