KANDYLAND (2016) TEN YEAR ANNIVERSARY SCREENING, 2/11 at Belcourt Theater, Nashville🩵💗🍬
In 2016- I booked an entire tour inside Nashville, exclusively at NON MUSIC venues. 30 free shows in one month. Our band spent our last $500 on a minivan that we customized and raffled away to entice people to come…as if you needed any more incentive to see the greatest 100% all-lesbian southern rock n roll three piece band with an occasional conga player of all time???? We played at @mcdonalds , a laundromat, a literal chocolate factory; up and down Lower Broadway while pulling a car battery hogtied to a wagon that we used to power our amp until it literally exploded… and so many MORE places… it was an experimental love letter to Nashville of 2016…. 🌹and its 30+ small business owners (and Opryland McDonalds) that generously matched our passion and mania and FAAFO 💐……even better, handful of people attended EVERY single show, including director *~Seth Graves~*, who made a documentary. A year later, our KANDYLAND full feature film premiered at the 2017 N Film Festival and WON🏆 In honor of this 10 year anniversary, we will be showing this glorious film again - our time capsule of DIY queer feminist STAMINA and pre-covid Nashville..… in theater for ONE night only… now premiering with never-before-seen archival footage…. at THEE BELCOURT THEATER @belcourttheatre on FEBRUARY 11th.… with a post-screening Q&A session hosted by an esteemed panel of myself, LG, and Seth Graves…. ¡also!!,,… by some freak yet wickedly un-ironic coincidence……🎬clearly authored by the dyke screenwriters of this simulation called life🎬💗...… we acquired ANOTHER fully functioning vehicle for $500… 🚗so we will be raffling off another car. This time its a Subaru! 💐🏆🍬♥️

SAUP Records was born as an act of honour and remembrance towards our ancestor Láwû. It is a magical and charitable label, created to support and sustain the activities and social causes of our association, in the way our companion liked best: through music.
SAUP Records operates on the basis of solidarity and community. Artists donate their art to the label and, in return, we offer visibility, publishing, distribution and support in communication and publicity for their work. This exchange gives rise to a circular economy, where artistic creation becomes a real tool for social impact.
All profits generated by SAUP Records go entirely to the charitable causes promoted by the association. In this way, artists not only share their music, but also actively participate in generating resources for social projects, creating a network of mutual support.

From December 4th to 9th, a series of intimate performances will take place in Berlin and Leipzig in tribute to láwû — Mango. / @eo.biont The tour revisits places where they performed with @ligament_amalgamate during their final tour, honoring their presence with care and respect. Their energy, empathy and light continue to guide this posthumous tribute.
This tour has been made possible through the heartfelt collaboration of Genoveva Ferrocide, Música Dispersa, and Chase Lombardo, as well as beloved friends and artists of the Berlin music community who uplifted láwû during their time here. It was a precious period in láwû’s life—one we are honored to celebrate—grounded in our shared commitment to their powerful life mission, which was firmly rooted in community strength and the spirit of kapwa
Throughout the program, the participating artists will pay homage to lâwû — Mango, celebrating the creative impulse and vibrant spirit they brought into the community.

We had the pleasure of welcoming Chase from @cumgirl8 to the studio this eve. A two hour live production — showcasing an eclectic mix of bass, jersey club, industrial core, dembow, noisey + contemporary rnb. A real journey this one.
