Leanne Angulo

I’ve been afraid of changing, but I think this is a good start. Joining this pageant has been a deeply personal journey for me, one of growth and transformation as the woman who I was always meant to be. I never imagined to stand on a stage fully showing who I am. It took a lot of vulnerability and acceptance to get here and I gladly showed it to the world. Thank you for accepting me not only as your Binibining Santa Cruz 2026, but accepting who Leanne Joy Peñaflor Angulo is. I will do my duty as your ambassador of goodwill, to serve the people and Santa Cruz. To my parents, Melanie Angulo and Emerlito Angulo, thank you for supporting me in this journey, it means the world to me to know that both of you are at my side, and for raising me into the woman I am. To my family Tito Jun, Alyanna (Wama), Alyssa (Pipa), Alanis (Wami), Tita Cynthia, Tito Frank, Michelle, Ate Princess, Tita Vikki, Tito Mike, you guys have been the backbone of my support system and I’m so grateful for your efforts since day one. It truly helped that you guys were there watching because it helped lift my spirits whenever I’d go on stage. To Sheila Rocero, my handler, thank you for everything. You have been a crucial part to this journey. If you hadn’t approached me I wouldn’t be where I am today. The time, effort, and sacrifices we made have been worth it. Also to the rest of my team: Jeff as my hairstylist, Cecille as our assistant and Lucille as my pasarela coach I am deeply grateful especially for the time you guys have allotted just for me to grow. To the Binibining Santa Cruz Committee, especially Uncle Jorom Red, Ate Dianne Preclaro, Ate Jo Mar, Coach Rionell Dimaculangan and Ms. Micah de Guzman thank you so much for taking care of me in my time there. You have given me so much that goes beyond the trainings, you have given me experiences that pushed me, and lessons that made me wiser. To my pageant sisters, thank you so much for the memories we made. It was so nice to be an ate for once especially for the times you guys would ask for my help or confide in me. I also loved our midnight mukbangs there HAHAH. Living life with grace, power, and empathy, Leanne :)

Worked with @voguephilippines this year Can’t believe i was able to hard launch my modeling career with Vogue. If i were to look back i never would’ve imagined i’d be here.
