âYesterday is done. See the pretty countryside.â

Iâve never been a poetic person so I donât really have the words to properly express how much this show and these people mean to me⌠so here goes nothingâŚ
Someone once told me you should take a job if it checks at least 2/3 of these boxes: 1. If itâll fulfill you artistically 2. If youâll make money 3. If youâre excited by the people you would be working with. They also said, a job that checks all of these boxes are few and far between so when they do come your way, donât take a second of it for granted. Merrily was that one in a million show that checked all of those boxes and so much more. Which feels like that shouldnât be possible and somehow it just⌠was. And on top of that it was my Broadway Debut.
I have an insanely long laundry list of why Merrily is the best thing that ever couldâve happened, so here are the highlights:
â¤ď¸There is truly no greater sight than looking out into the house at the Hudson and seeing hundreds of smiling faces who knew, from the second the downbeat our overture started, just how special this show was.
â¤ď¸Working in a building where half-hour just simply isnât enough time to have proper hangs.
â¤ď¸A crew that made me want to quit acting so I could join IATSE and never leave them
â¤ď¸A group of people who never tried to dim my love for the thing I love most in this world. Who always encouraged me to live as loudly and happily as I could.
â¤ď¸Getting to hear our overture and score played by the best band on Broadway
â¤ď¸Friends that I believe will last a lifetime. Friends who make you question what it is you did right in this world to deserve them

I wish Merrily couldâve ran forever but Iâm happy it ended the way it did: on a high, with a building full of people who still looked forward to coming to work everyday. I think itâs a beautiful reminder that all things, no matter how good they are, come to an end. And while the loss feels unbearable currently, Iâm excited for whatâs to come. And I am forever grateful to have been a part of itđŤśđź
one last love letter.. for nowâŚ

tuesday night was the greatest night of my life. hands down. i am still struggling to find the words to accurately describe how it felt in that present moment and even how Iâm feeling now. but I do know this: i have been blessed with the most loving and supportive community. i am held and lifted up by, what I know, are the greatest people in this whole goddamn galaxy. if Iâve ever questioned the importance of community in the past, i will never do so again as long as i live. i will never be able to thank you all enough. i will never be able to express how much i truly love each and every one of you. there is nothing better than being able to be your most authentic, most pure, most vulnerable self, but, the greatest gift is allowing yourself to do so in front of the people you love most. so thank you. thank you for being there..for a l w a y s being there. thank you for laughing. thank you for smiling. and most importantly, thank you for loving me.

Outstanding Revival at the @lortelawards đ i certainly will never take for granted how special this show and this particular group of people are. Thank God for joy and laughter. And thank you, William Finn, for giving us the greatest reason to feel and do just that.

we also played our last performance as an original company last night. Itâs bittersweet, but also a beautiful reminder that things are allowed to exist just as they were for a short while. I will cherish these last six months. Team Bee f-o-r-e-v-e-rđ
