Cara and Austin’s wedding was the kind of celebration that felt like stepping back into the golden age of Hollywood—timeless, elegant, and dripping with vintage glamour. With a black and white color scheme as crisp and classic as a tuxedo, every detail was carefully curated to echo the glitz and romance of old Hollywood cinema.
The venue, a private house nestled in the heart of Palm Springs, was a character in its own right—mid-century architecture, swaying palms, and desert skies setting the stage for their stylish soirée. They laid down a striking black and white tiled floor, where the ceremony took place beneath a canopy of string lights, twinkling like stars overhead. The same space later transformed into a dance floor that pulsed with energy, laughter, and unforgettable moves.
With the candlelit tablescapes glowing against the monochrome palette, every corner of the celebration radiated glamour. It wasn’t just a wedding—it was a scene straight out of an iconic film.

This wedding will forever be one of my favorites. The couple and their sweet family were so special to work alongside, the flowers were soft and romantic, the vendor team were the best and some of my very favorites, I had a dream team AND my first grandchild was born the same week! There's something about the moment the sun sets and the candles take over.
This design was built around that shift. Layered sheer drapery over the pergola to catch the light and add depth as the evening shifted from day to night — soft shadows, golden candlelight, moody ambiance, and romantic vibes.
Every texture, every material was intentionally curated. Because a tablescape should feel like an experience, not just a setting.
