We had healthy eating themed craft activities and a chance to explore and reminisce with toys from the @birminghammuseumshire
The lovely Terry from @homeinsteadedgbaston delivered dementia awareness talks to people from the local area and we welcomed local legend @barbaranice42 to entertain us all. We had so much fun and enjoyed meeting lots of new people. We hope all who attended had a great time š„°

We loved our first Sensory Stroll at @bhambotanicalgardens last Friday. We made sure we checked out the rhododendrons which were bloomin' lovely! (excuse the pun).
If you would like to come along to our next event on Friday 22nd May, get in touch: [email protected]
Thanks to the Gardens and to @homeinsteadedgbaston for making all of this possible.

In our most recent session at @moorpoolht we welcomed the fabulous @camocarolynmorton who taught us how to create inks from plants and how to modify the shade, tone and sometimes completely change the colour of the ink using various substances.
The table was filled with interesting-looking jars, bottles and dried plants and the group had a lot of fun investigating and experimenting with the inks and modifiers.
After a tentative start, the group quickly relaxed and were able to create a beautiful whole group piece that ran the full length of the table.
Thank you for inspiring us all, Carolyn!
Have you ever tried making your own botanical inks? What are your favourite plants to use? Let us know in the comments!
Thank you to our funders Harborne Parish Lands and @tnlcommunityfund šæ
