The Israeli military has issued new "evacuation notices" in Gaza. This is forced displacement and Netanyahu’s latest move to mount what he called a full takeover of Gaza — a blatant escalation in Israel’s genocidal campaign of ethnic cleansing against the Palestinian people.
Aid and food supplies sit right outside Gaza's walls, but Israel is blocking their entry. And Israeli soldiers have killed almost 1,000 people in the past month as they seek food at aid distribution sites. Israel's forced starvation of two million Palestinians is happening in front of our eyes, and Canadian and other Western leaders refuse to take concrete action.
Genocide must have consequences — and sanctions are the strongest card Canada has to play to help bring an end to this violence.
With allies, we are calling on the Canadian government to implement the following sanctions:
- Implement a full two-way arms embargo, including closing loopholes.
- Ban trade and work with companies complicit in the illegal occupation, including ending the Canada-Israel Free Trade Agreement.
- Sanction Netanyahu, his cabinet, and other officials responsible for violations of human rights and international law: freeze their assets, prohibit all business and financial dealings and ban them from entering Canada.
In under 2 weeks, we have sent almost 15,000 emails to Prime Minister Carney and Minister Anand demanding sanctions. Use our easy tool to send yours now: LINK IN BIO

Migrants sustain our communities and most essential systems. And yet, they are being scapegoated for crises that are caused by corporate greed and government inaction.
The majority of migrants, refugees, and asylum seekers coming to Canada are fleeing violence, forced displacement, oppression, economic and climate instability, and persecution. No one decides to leave their community and the land they are connected to lightly.
Canada — a country that was built on settler colonialism and white supremacy — has a long history of racism. But there is another history too: of people fighting for an equitable society that is free from hate and racism, where everyone is welcome, and no one is left behind. We need to step up and defend it.

🚨It’s official. The federal government is planning to axe pharmacare.🚨
This is a major betrayal. If we don't raise our voices now, we could lose pharmacare. We need to dial up the pressure.

Ceasefires are not the answer - the war must end. We are paying the price for a crisis we didn't cause. People in Iran, Lebanon, and the region are being killed, energy bills are rising, food costs more, and cooking fuel is scarce. Public services are at breaking point as countries are pushed deeper into debt. While we struggle to survive, and many are dying, fossil fuel companies and war corporations are making record profits. Our governments are protecting them instead of us. This must change.

Join people across the country April 13 - 18 for a Week of Action to stand up for a future that puts people, communities, and the planet first. A future where public money is used to build something better—not lock us into a fossil fuel future.
This isn’t just about energy—it’s about priorities.
Why are we spending billions on LNG projects that:
• increase emissions
• raise energy prices
• ignore Indigenous leadership
when we could be investing in clean energy, good jobs, and a safer future?
Join us in person in Montreal, Ottawa, Toronto, Vancouver and Victoria, or take action online (link in bio)!

This morning, we were on Parliament Hill to deliver over 34,000 signatures demanding an east-west energy grid powered by renewables and providing communities across the country with affordable, reliable, clean electricity.
Toxic pipelines, new LNG projects, and unproven carbon capture technology have no place in our energy future. It is time for a clean, connected Canadian grid that creates good jobs, insulates everyday people from volatile oil prices, makes our economy more resilient, and protects our planet.

Whether you’re living in the U.S. or Canada, it’s the same story: hard-earned money from working people like you is propping up ICE violence against migrants and racialized people.
We don’t want our savings to be used to fund authoritarian terror, harm our communities and neighbours, or fuel the climate crisis.
Now, we’re following the money. 💸💸💸

Sixty years of exploitation. Sixty years of resistance.
On March 31, 1966, Canada created the Seasonal Agricultural Workers Program - a legal leash binding migrant workers to a single employer. For 60 years since, migrants have built, fed, and cared for communities across Canada while being excluded from rights and separated from family. For 60 years, migrants have resisted.
Today we're launching a timeline of that struggle - the policies that built this system, and the people who fought back and won. Today we insist: migrants are the solution.

BREAKING: Our friends @Stand.Earth have just released new data that reveals that Canada's top banks and pension funds, including the Canada Pension Plan, have invested $35 billion into companies that prop up ICE.
That means while you and 22 million others across Canada work hard to secure a stable future, the Canada Pension Plan is investing those savings into Trump's terror project south of the border — propping up the agency responsible for kidnapping people off the street, separating families and ripping children from their parents’ arms, violating due process, and the racist targeting of people of colour.

Most people in Canada have no idea their life savings are tied to companies like Palantir and @generaldynamics – the very companies that make ICE’s vicious violence possible. Billions of our hard-earned dollars are helping ICE carry out Trump’s regime of terror across the U.S., and our pensions and banks are trying to get away with it.
