Life Development University welcomes “MILES AHEAD” a running culture residency curated by Knox Robinson
@firstrun , now on view at 4241 Crenshaw Blvd.
Knox is the founder of
@blackrosesnyc , a founding coach of Nike+ Run Club, and a former editor of Fader magazine.
His residency fills the space with original art, archival photography, vintage posters, books, and a continuous jazz soundtrack spinning on a studio turntable. Including original artwork and materials from the estate of Aurelia Brooks (1931-2021), co-founder of the California African American Museum.
