Today would have been day of the 10th Lights Camera Africa Film Festival. Actually, right now, we would have been having cocktails preparing to see our opening film. As you know we turn *10* this year and while we will not be able to share our beloved film festival together due to safety COVID measures we still celebrate and reflect with you - you who have been a part of it over the years, held our hands, gave us your talent, your money and your time and rooted for us. You are amazing. Happy Independence Day. Click on the link in our bio to read the Lagos Review Interview with our founder. What is your fondest LCA memory? #LCAis10 #LCAFilmFest #FilmFestival #Africa

Today, we are taking time out to remember the pre-isolation days. We do not take lightly the power of community. Our community have shown up for us consistently for 9years and this year, we celebrate a Decade. A decade of film fellowship, of storytelling, of learning and valuable connections. As we look forward to our 10th anniversary themed “Big Dreams”, we reflect on the success of our 9th edition - hoping it lifts all our spirits; reminds us of the power of big dreams and keeps us optimistic for better days - days free of fear, sickness, trauma, isolation and the coronavirus. Just like that great time we had, filled with #TalesByMoonlight #LCA2020 #BigDreams #Film #LCAFilmFest #LightsCameraAfrica #FilmFestival #LCAis10 #LCADecade
