Last night, our Ballet Trainee concentration brought beautiful artistry, focus, and dedication to the stage for their final performances of Continuum: Our Kinetic Lineage. From powerful ensemble moments to refined technical work, the evening reflected the depth of training, discipline, and commitment our trainees have poured into this season. TONIGHT marks the final performance of Continuum: Our Kinetic Lineage, featuring our Jazz & Contemporary Trainee concentration and the Joffrey Concert Group. We are incredibly proud of our Trainees featured in @njcuarts Jagged Little Pill production, happening March 20–29, 2026. This production features choreography by our very own Artistic Director Angelica Stiskin @angelicastiskin , with Trainee Alumna Layla Shoobridge @laylashoo serving as Associate Choreographer, bringing a dynamic and emotionally driven movement language under the leadership and direction of Marc Dalio, Artistic Director of the NJCU Center for the Arts. Inspired by the groundbreaking 1995 album that made Alanis Morissette a household name, Jagged Little Pill has been reimagined for the stage as a raw and deeply human story. Rather than a biographical retelling, the musical follows the Healy family, whose seemingly perfect life begins to unravel as they confront identity, pressure, and the complexities beneath the surface.
