The CD has a pull out 6-panel insert with all of my lyrics on them (and some more of the photos from a shoot with Suki Florence)
I hope to perform the album and more originals (always with others) in NZ and Australia this year so I look forward to performing at a place near you soon!

I'm also keen to work with electronic producers and perform my originals on this album and other sraps (song raps) I have written as a DJ accompaniment with my Sax (fb.me/freedomonsax) so get in touch - let's remix my songs into electronic music - a lot of them started that way then I met an audio engineer of acoustic-only music and this album happened 🙂

My first acoustic gig outside of open mic nights (mostly in 2022-23 on the West Coast except for 4 times last year in Nelson) and a solo gig in Nelson at a spiritual expo Aug 2023!
I played 12 of my originals (Shoney jammed with me on some) and jammed on sax, flute and vocals with Shanti Shoney @shoneymita with her originals (about the same amount) and covers, plus the lovely Bev accompanied us on Congos and harmonies.
Special thanks to @thedogsbonenelson for hosting and supporting us, great food and drinks and a lovely vibe - check out this cute new venue Nelson peeps!
And thank you to our friends and others who came out and supported us. We even got a couple of dancers here and there - woop!
It was fun walking around Nelson CBD delivering flyers in the morning, and it was so special performing my originals in this environment - hopefully the first of many more!
Also - Shoney did an energy healing on me the previous weekend where I went back 4 lifetimes and cleared whatever had blocked me from singing freely and better in the past so I can suddenly magically harmonise in the moment! Such a beautiful sad but moving song! Healing to feel and express our shadows and darker emotions, instead of suppressing them, so we can make space by clearing them out for more light joy and magic to fill up our cups again. Her voice is exquisite! The struggles of life, everybody hurts sometimes.. Eva will start 8pm with awesome funk/rock covers, then Amez and me will play my acoustic indie folk-ish album and some jazzy etc covers/originals, with Eva/others maybe joining in the jam. Then the DJs start 10pm and we may keep jamming with them including our originals, yusss!!!

Stay tuned!) accompanying each other sing 10-12 each of our own originals, including my whole upcoming album (a pre-release show especially for the West Coast - Taylorville just out of Greymouth - courtesy vans available) and my new record label Weka Records (South street studios) @wekafmradio who are releasing their third compilation album of 6 original songwriters (2 songs each)
I released 2 originals on the first compilation album at wekarecords.bandcamp.com (numbers 5 and 6!) during the 8 years I lived on the West Coast!
Finalising the artwork for the album, it’s so exciting!! Release date to be announced but pencil in 20 Jun Nelson.. hoping to bring the album out officially and ask you guys to come and support and celebrate with me!
