For the first time in my life I went to a “modelling training day” by the amazing Australasian team at @countrygirlmanagement Sat 6 Sep 2025 in Christchurch, NZ. I chose to get professional photo shoots (and am still choosing the best few of them to be fully edited that may go into a portfolio if I was to apply for modelling work age 43!). We learned how to think, move, and hold our bodies during catwalk training to fully embody our own energy and essence with a certain emotion. It was all about being self-confident, empowered, intentional, and in your purpose, and was such a lovely, fun, encouraging environment! And all about psychological safety in what has not always been a safe industry. I left feeling inspired and excited to have met some lovely ladies of all ages and when the guys were there at the end of the day (brothers, friends, partners, fathers) watching us all proudly strut our stuff on the catwalk they also got an invite and did the same, it was consistently super good vibes all day long! We all cheered each other on and I’m so glad I went. Here are some pics from the shoots 🙂
