Lawrence Wright is a staff writer for “The New Yorker”, a playwright, a screenwriter, and the author of ten books of nonfiction, including “The Looming Tower”, “Going Clear”, and “God Save Texas”, and three previous novels, “Mr. Texas”, “The End of October”, and “God’s Favorite”. His books have received many honors, including a Pulitzer Prize for “The Looming Tower”. He and his wife are longtime residents of Austin, Texas.
Rebecca McInroy believes everyone should have access to meaningful, inspiring conversations that help inform our understanding of the human experience and foster community. She is an award-winning producer, journalist, and host for public radio and podcasts. Her current projects include: Two Guys on Your Head, about behavioral psychology for KUT Radio; See You Now, on nurse-led innovation for Johnson & Johnson and The American Nurses Association; and American Compassion, on the past, present, and future of the American safety net, for FindHelp.
