Late post but thank you so much, @megamagazine , for featuring me as One to Watch for September 2024, the biggest issue month for fashion magazines 🥲. We’re not just in one but five magazines, across six pages. We had less than a month to prepare the samples for the collection, but it was fun. And sì, I’m Igorot-Spanish and have always been proud of my roots. 🤗 A special thanks to @ryujishiomitsu for believing in me and trusting my vision, to @mariansanpedro_ for the beautiful writing and helping tell my story, to @jericksanchez for the stunning photos, to @htcnon for art directing, and to @bryanliiim , @drcats , @ericalterol , @nicholexanne , @badgalrigel , @rakilucas , @shelwng , and @ruthazenath for helping with the shoot, and to @jonespalteng and the whole @megamagazine team. And to @simonegalliofficial @hameahyap @alagaatsining , and to everyone on my team, thank you 🙏🏽✨. “I’m not a creative person. I’m a slave of my creativity. I just let it control me where it hits me.” “I always say I am multiple people, but no one can really understand what I mean. Before I was a designer, I was a musician, poet, and artist. If you ask the child me, he’d say he wants to be everything — and I still do. I want to be everything. I want to be as infinite as the universe.” — Words I’ve always told myself ever since I was a child.

I’m in Vogue yay! 🎉 Very honoured to be one of the creatives to be featured in @voguephilippines September 2025 ‘The Anniversary Issue’. I know I’m just getting started, but it’s really an honour to feel seen. I remember as a kid doing music and being that weird Filipino art kid growing up in Japan, always feeling alienated. Then moving to Italy, I felt the same while working in European brands — having to prove myself harder to be taken seriously. I’ve always been ambitious, but I believe in Sartre’s philosophy that we are born with no purpose, we create our own. And I already had a vision of who I wanted to be since I was a kid. Returning to the Philippines, I felt that same distance until I found the art scene. For a long time, I feared people would never understand me. Then I realised, I just need to be myself, create, and let go. The right people will find me. Creativity means wrestling with insecurities and dark truths. That’s the beauty and curse of being creative — we are complex beings. And if I can be seen, you can be too. <sorry for spamming my selfies, I’ll post myself on my feed after months again, maybe, oki bye>

A LWRNBRT woman is difficult to categorise. She refuses to be labeled. She experiments with materials. Some days it’s raffia, other days she’s too busy to think and just throws on a leather jacket. Sometimes she wants comfort in a knitted top, sometimes she slips into a draped silk dress. Sometimes she feels most like herself in a tailored suede suit and wool pants. And sometimes she’d wear her fur coat when she wants to feel untouchable. She is not inconsistent, but she is always exploring. She knows who she is. She simply refuses to stay fixed, and she is comfortable being each version of herself.

The BLACK LES ARTISANS SKIRT, featured in “The Great Escape: The Beauty in Places We Call Home” from MEGA Magazine @megamagazine , April 2026 “The Shape of Summer” Issue. Vacations end, time passes, lives change, and yet one thing remains the same: no matter where we are or who we become, it is worth remembering that our first gateway to beauty are in the places we call home. These unhurried moments of treasured simplicity remind us what beauty truly is. It isn’t curated. It isn’t rushed. Home is where beauty simply is. The Les Artisans Skirt is made with black Italian raffia and handcrafted in Italy. Our raffia pieces evolve the “Les Artisans: Anima” narrative, embracing an archipelagic perspective — where connection flows through water rather than being limited by land. A dialogue across cultures, bridging the histories of the Philippines and Italy, united through shared craft. In connection to this, the piece reflects the idea that home is not only a physical place, but something carried and shared through memory, craft, and origin — where beauty is rooted, remembered, and continuously found in the familiar and the handmade. A LWRNBRT woman is couture with bad intentions. She likes her craftsmanship precise and her tailoring deliberate. But beneath it all is emotional chaos. Everything about her is intentional, yet nothing about her feels safe. You see it in the way she wears chainmail with seduction and vulnerability, but it remains an armour. Her silhouette is composed, her emotions are not. Rebellion hides beneath her refinement. She is elegant and polite, but never innocent. Always misunderstood, and completely comfortable being that way.
