Ah table plans - one of my favorite things to design.
A table plan is an opportunity to create something that every guest takes a moment to appreciate. It is where functionality meets design and I absolutely love how they can add such character to a space.

I was so close to just uploading this as a nice picture of a detail but I didn’t want to brush past something that meant a lot to me in case it helps someone else find their right way of remembering a loved one. So I do hope this helps 🤍
Weddings can be hard - they’re one of life’s big events where that hole left by loss can feel so much deeper. I wanted a way to remember my beautiful mam in our day but it needed to be something that was true to her. My mother was a creative soul who loved calligraphy so using her handwriting for the stamp just felt right.

If I buy something new, there’s a decent chance you’ll see me wearing it out of the shop so naturally I cannot wait to share all the beautiful images from a recent shoot with @peter_carvill with flowers by the incredible @flowers_by_kimmarie .
This shoot was the first thing I planned when I went full time with Lavender Press and seeing it all come together has just filled me with such joy. I know it’s soppy but looking at all these images just reinforces that this is what I’m meant to be doing right now and I couldn’t be happier about it.
Peter - not only are you just the loveliest person, you are a master at what you do and I’m so grateful you were able to help. I’m already worrying about when I have to go back and take my own pictures 😄

A menu is so much more than a functional item, it’s decor, it’s art, it’s a tactile experience for your guests and when they’re as pretty as these it’s a definite keepsake.

It’s been a wild few months which has meant posting on Instagram has definitely taken a back seat.
But over the last few weeks, so many beautiful suites have been arriving through letterboxes and I always think about that moment. How exciting it must be to receive such special post - the anticipation it brings and how it suddenly makes everything feel so real.

An inspiring evening for @byinvitationco . We welcomed a small group of beautiful brides @cartonhouse.fairmont and it was a true feast for the senses, bringing together fashion, food, floral design, jewels and styling.
For the table I leaned into the salon’s old-world ornamentation, softened for the modern bride: crushed coral velvet linen layered with graduated candles, brass, fabric holders and velvet bows threaded through antique floral menus.
Loose, sculptural florals - chrysanthemums, garden roses and ranunculus - were kept low and layered so the night felt warm and intimate.
