Choose a diamond size that suits your hand (and budget!). Bigger isn’t necessarily always better, particularly if you have petite hands a larger stone can overwhelm you. But a 5 carat diamond can look phenomenal on the right person. It’s all about the right diamonds, cut and carat, to suit you.

The most important thing I tell people when choosing an engagement ring is to choose one that suits you and your lifestyle. It’s why for me although I ADORE emeralds and have one as a right hand ring, there is no way emerald which is rated 7.5 compared to a diamond at 10 on the durability scale would survive my everyday life.

Popped into @chupi with my girl @ava_gilmartin as she chose something to mark her upcoming 21st Birthday.
And somewhere between all the sparkle and trying on ALL the beautiful things, I finally chose a piece to celebrate motherhood and our little family too.
