It's been 7 weeks since I made my non-comedy stage debut at @clumsy.cabaret , with my Gold Coast God bestie @anansi.boy.drag ! The eternal struggle between the Master and the Doctor has never before involved this much rope (that's probably a lie).

In September 2021, I attended my first adult Welsh lesson - it opened up a world of comedy, friendship and activism for me. In Summer 2023, I was invited to do my first Welsh language stand-up show by @panedoge . This year, I've gigged with some of my favourite comedians at the @eisteddfod , performed my first hour at @abercomedyfest and recorded a comedy special for @s4c . So excited to be bringing my debut stand up show Cymro to @abercomedyfest Saturday 5th! It's my attempt to talk about transitioning, learning Welsh, and starting stand up comedy all within 12 months. I've had a blast working with @littlewanderevents and @s4c to produce a bilingual stand up show that's suitable for Welsh Speakers, learners of all levels and even those who don't speak any Welsh. It's very much a work in progress but I'm still proud of it and it's been a fuck ton of work to be writing, developing and working full time and there's still lots of work to be done. Roll up! Roll up! Me and the delightful @dobbs_is_funny are hosting a Work in Progress at the Queer Emporium this Friday.
I'm practising for my bilingual comedy show 'Cymro,' which will explore coming out, learning Welsh and starting comedy all within the same 12 months and premieres at @abercomedyfest in October.
There'll be jokes in English, there'll be jokes in Welsh, there might even be some interpretative dancing!
Everybody is welcome and I promise you'll still have a lovely time if you don't speak Welsh ❤️
