@jason is creating Ultron here at @thisweekinstartups and @launch to do everyone’s jobs! One replicant to rule them all! The goal is to make the whole organization able to do more, NOT fire people. Are you using Open Claw or are you being left behind? #openclaw #tech #startups

The wind-up and... THE PITCH! Yesterday at @founder.university , attendees practiced their pitches together and gave helpful feedback. Gigi Wu impressed the crowd yesterday with her creation, RandomChat, a voice-based community that she compares to Roblox for Adults. The app is already a hit in Japan and now Gigi is hoping to take it international, and the other founders in attendance had THOUGHTS. Want a brilliant group of innovators to help you refine your pitch? Come to Founder U next time! Learn more and apply today at tokyo.launch.co or founder.university.

At @founder.university x Tokyo, LAUNCH's own @rikkijump shared some insights on founder-led sales and then opened up the floor for questions... and Yuki Kanai from Aladdin took advantage of the opportunity. They've developed an AI-powered waste sorting system (think: smart trash cans) that can cut costs, reduce emissions, AND automate recycling for trash-heavy facilities like airports. Aladdin's been aiming BIG, at major enterprise clients, but after hearing Rikki's talk, Yuki's thinking about ways to sell the tech to a broader audience. Want to think about ways you can open up new markets for YOUR startup? Founder University can help! Find out more info and apply at tokyo.launch.co or founder.university.

Sometimes you need a visual aide to fully explain your product. Such is the case with AISI X, an AI-powered triage assistant for brain scans that provides fast, accurate results AND reduces administrative overhead for radiologists. Founder Denis Chegodaev already has a working prototype, and is on his way to securing regulatory approval... but he still has questions about pitching to US investors, particularly as an international entrepreneur... That's where @founder.university can help! Our mentors and insiders like @amandabradford have been through the startup journey before, and have outside-the-box tactics to get around the most common (and even some uncommon) founder pitfalls. If you've got a great startup, but some lingering questions remain... Founder U might be apply to help! Apply today at tokyo.launch.co or founder.university.

In 2019, @Ocean.Niu had a chance to pitch his startup to @Jason . While that project was not the right fit, JCal said he saw something in this founder, and predicted great things ahead. 6 years, and one MBA later, Ocean is BACK with a new startup: Xupra, a foundational AI platform designed to guide Pharma, MedTech, and AI companies through the prompt. engineering process. It just goes to show, timing is everything with startups, and sometimes even the best founders don't hit it out of the park with their first idea. Think you're the right entrepreneur with the right idea RIGHT NOW? Then you should apply for @Founder.University ! Learn more at tokyo.launch.co or founder.university.

Kosie Watanabe and @williampbarnes grabbed a few precious moments between panels to catch up on Laughter. No, not the expression of joy and humor (although maybe that too?) The company! Kosie's startup is a personal assistant that helps busy users automate micro-decisions, directly through WhatsApp. Don't have time to worry about staying fit, eating right, or getting enough sleep? Outsource that stuff! If you want to pitch us YOUR brilliant startup idea, apply for @founder.university today by going to tokyo.launch.co or founder.university.

Everyone's startup is different... but good advice is good advice. Here, Hiroki Watanabe from Goi gets some Q&A time in with our guest expert @AmandaBradford , even though their companies couldn't be more different. She founded an elite community dating app... His company, Goi, helps factories automate via Physical AI. But scaling up is scaling up, growth is growth, and smart strategies are universal. Want to see how our experience can help fuel YOUR startup? Apply for Founder U! Learn more at tokyo.launch.co OR Founder.University.

Bringing founders together so they can share knowledge and tactics is what @founder.university is all about! Here's Pasit Rojradtanasiri from @callbutler.me exchanging ideas with Maximilian Vollmar of Madori and our mentor extraordinaire, @satorunaito of Anyplace! CallButler is the on-demand concierge service for tourists and expats that works directly through Whatsapp. Madori, meanwhile, are developing a filtering system for realtors, that helps them and their clients zero in on the perfect properties. Very different businesses, but on some level, all startups have something to teach one another! If you want to level up your company, consider joining us for Founder University! Down time is pretty rare these days at @founder.university , but during the occasional break between expert panels, workshops, interviews, and the occasional podcast, our mentors take a few beats to workshop ideas and pitches with our amazing attendees. Here's @retreat_jp co-founder and CEO Shun Yamada looking through the Zenmetry deck with co-founders Yoshi Nagatomo and Kenichi Azegami. They're building a next-gen task management platform that reads through your messages and automatically generates events, so your plans end up in an organized database rather than living in your head. Look how much fun they're having! This could be you, too, if you bring your company to the next Founder University cohort. Learn more at tokyo.launch.co OR Founder.University.

More Q&A from today's @founder.university session. Here @amandabradford catches up with Nowa Sutaka of Puddin AI. They've created a system that instantly provides concrete proof of human authorship. In a world full of AI Slop, Puddin wants to help people verify that their writing is their own, cryptographically. And what better way to grow and nurture an innovative app than speaking with a founder who's been there before? Amanda took a small idea -- an app she created mostly for herself -- and grew it into a $15M ARR business with 300K monthly active users! Want successful mentors to help guide YOUR startup journey? Apply for @founder.university ! Head to tokyo.launch.co or founder.university to learn more.

Today at @founder.university , guest mentor @amandabradford shared lessons from her "selective" dating community app The League (which she sold to The Match Group back in 2022). Then she made time for questions from our attendees, including @goalmochi founder Matthew Chana. He's building an AI platform that helps users visualize, plan around, and ultimately achieve their goals. If YOU want to pick the brains of some of the industry's smartest and most experienced founders... come to our next Founder U cohort! Check out tokyo.launch.co or founder.university for more info.

Every @founder.university cohort features awesome guest speakers and helpful sessions (plus the occasional live @thisweekinstartups recording!) but one of the big highlights for founders are the pods, where they can knock around ideas and workshop their startups with our expert mentors and insiders. Miki Bito from Cache AI Technologies went deep with investor @williampbarnes about her startup, which designs middleware -- a kind of software glue -- that makes LLMs run faster AND cheaper for global enterprises. Get this kind of hands-on help and advice by joining our next Founder U cohort! Learn more at Tokyo.launch.co OR Founder.University.
