This mural lives downtown Tampa at Late Start and Mighty Fine and was created in collaboration with Tampa Downtown Partnership to honor the rich music history of the Central Park neighborhood. Legends like Ray Charles and MLK spent time here and helped shape the identity of the neighborhood. I chose to incorporate a saxophone player inspired by Masego since he’s not only one of my favorite musicians but whose sound and journey closely reflect the same creativity and evolution that shaped this community. The tattoos I added to the piece reference real people, places, and moments from the neighborhoods unique history to serve as a tribute the past. Swipe over to see more details of the piece!

This Saturday we’re ending the debate! Who makes the better Cuban sandwich, Miami or Tampa!
Our good friends in Tampa @latestartbrewing will be pulling up and bringing their Tampa Cuban sandwiches and a couple of their beers and we’ll square off head to head. We’ll have some custom pencils ✏️ and voting cards 🗳️ for you all to vote on whose beer and Cuban is victorious.
ALSO half off Post Seasons Pilsner all day because we’re going to be ending the Bucs post season on Sunday! (If we win I think)
