Six nights out on the town. Ancient impeccable glowing neon. Big steaks and two dollar beers. Roll-A-Dice on the bar top. ciggs and sweaty boots. Spooky Taxidermy everywhere. Bingo night packed, parking lot overflows. Restaurant bar and liquor store all in one. Sunrise drive into the mountains before work. It’s only eight minutes away. A pack of elk watch us as we cruise by. The west is alive and a big highway stabs right through it. I could keep driving for thousands of miles.
