Well team. The time has come! Can’t believe I’m saying that, or that it’s actually happening. This week we will leave our old home, and do potentially the quickest cafe relocation turn around in history 😂
It has been a surreal time for us, and I can’t thank the LATE team enough for their commitment to the vision, and I thank you the customers eternally for sticking with us and showing up every day to catch up on the latest.

I am thrilled to announce that this week we will be moving to our new home just round the corner at
227 Castlereagh Road 🤍

Some of you may notice that address :) and yes, we will be taking up residence in the old @lazyclairepastry spot. We are massive fans of what Daniel achieved there, and the community he built. Now we have the honour of bringing our concept, our experience, and a new passion to this location. It’s going to be awesome welcoming you our customers and meeting some new faces too!

With our new home comes a new retail tin for you. A super tasty coffee that will punch on your morning filter, wake up espresso, or afternoon hug in a mug.

We’ve tweaked the hours just slightly to give you more time to snap up a brew on your way home from work. Keep us busy from 8AM each morning and we might open up earlier once we get settled.

We are beyond happy with the new space, and the response from you guys has blown us away.

Tomorrow we throw a party! Open from 8AM with coffee, choons, as many cookies as we can bake before we run out. Cheering on all the runners from @belfastcitymarathon
Check road closures and figure out how to dander over :) it’s going to be so fun!

We have been planning on doing something with the class @fadobagels since they launched and it’s kept slipping the net. So before we close this chapter, we HAD to make it happen!

Team. Tomorrow is going to be our last day for a while…
We want to keep things clear and not mess you around with opening and closing. So, with things so up in the air right now we think this is best. Sorry.

It would mean the world if you could carve out some time and get up to the shop to buy a coffee, buy all the retail, and cheers to whatever’s next with us.

Before you do that, definitely call past @lazyclairepastry and give one of the greats the send off they deserve. Legends.

Team. This is a tough one to write

As you will all know if you’ve been in the shop this past year, we have had our fair share of challenges with the building.
We’ve pivoted, hustled, and switched things up as much as we could in order to keep this space open daily, for you. And to make sure the space remains its calm, ‘not in a hurry, Murray’ self, even though we’ve been treading water under the surface.
Now, we have taken the heartbreaking decision that our time at number four has come to an end. We will be rolling down the shutter for the last time at the end of April.
This gives us until then, to make it freaking party! So that’s our plan between now and then. Business as usual.
We are actively looking to find a new space to relocate LATE, and are remaining hopeful that this isn’t how it ends. Cross your fingers for us.
I’ll take the chance now to thank you all in advance, because I know you will continue to support the shop and keep us stoked. We plan to repay the favour with super tasty coffee and bakes. Genuinely, like I said on Saturday for our birthday. We have only made it this far because of your support for local business, and the love of the local coffee spot.
I think that’s all that can be said for now.
