Living in a world where clothes aren’t made with skill, is disposable, and not in trend to rewear. However, there’s a few who still think about where their clothes come from, what materials it’s made from, how long it will last, and how many different ways it can be styled. I made this oversized slip dress out of my husband’s shirt that he had for years, longer than 2015. Underconsumption is normal, it’s real life. Social media shopping hauls aren’t. We can aspire to have all these things, but who honestly need 20 varieties of jeans, sweaters, lipgloss, perfume? Either they’ll be collecting dust or expire before the bottle is empty. You’re not alone if you’re a person who rewear clothes because of necessity or it’s just your thing. I also use Raw African Shea Butter that I mix with tea tree and grapeseed oils for their scalp; which keeps their coils looking hydrated.
