This month’s Pouring Forward means a lot to us. We’re collaborating with Kassie and Sammi—two sisters using their story to make a real impact 🤍
Together, we’re raising awareness for @vhl_alliance , a nonprofit dedicated to improving the quality of life and health outcomes for those affected by VHL through education, support, and advancements in research.
VHL (Von Hippel-Lindau) is a rare genetic disorder that causes tumors and cysts to grow in different parts of the body—affecting about 1 in 36,000 people. While many of these tumors are benign, they can still be very serious as they grow and require constant monitoring.
Kassie and Sammi’s story:
• They both chose to pursue nursing after their own diagnoses and watching their family go through VHL
• Living with VHL means routine MRIs every 4–6 months, often lasting up to 2 hours
• And through it all—they continue to show that you can live a full, beautiful life, even with the challenges that come with it
Every drink this month helps us support this cause, spread awareness, and stand alongside those affected by VHL. Thank you for being part of something bigger with us 🤍
