Since 2019, they’ve been creating access to support for those impacted by inter-family violence through advocacy, resources, and intentional spaces for growth and healing. From certifying domestic violence advocates to hosting community gatherings, workshops, and cultural healing spaces, their work continues to fill critical gaps our communities face
At a time when the need for support is only growing, they are showing what it looks like to build care systems led by and for the community

We’re joined by Anelly Perez, a community advocate whose work is rooted in care, access, and public health.
From studying Public Health here in the Valley to working in medical case management with high-risk patients, her journey has been centered on helping people navigate complex systems and improve their quality of life. She’s also stood alongside survivors as an advocate through CSUN’s Strength United program, and now serves as a Program Manager for the CPHT program, leading efforts to strengthen public health and better serve our communities.

Set in Los Angeles, this coming of age short film follows a group of teenage soccer players navigating friendship, identity, and fear as their community faces ongoing ICE raids in the lead up to the world’s biggest sporting event. Unidos ’26 speaks directly to younger generations in our Latine community who are feeling the weight of political persecution and choosing to find their voice anyway.
