Hark! The day is nigh! 📯 After anticipating this release for years, Deliver the Daisy LP to your ears! In 2023, my brother @bartybrett came down to Texas to help me make some music with a trove of folks I’ll always love, and in the subsequent days spent dragging my feet, I’ve only come to appreciate the shared experience of singing even more. We present to you a chance to celebrate this time capsule of a record on May 1st at the Cherrywood Center. Not to toot my own (angelic) horn unnecessarily, but I believe it’ll be a truly special evening, filled with friends and dear ones all around. We’re assembling the entire extended Daisy Dullboy choir of comrades for a singular performance, full of noteable names and harmonious hearts you won’t want to miss 💕 I’m humbled to announce as well that we’ll be supported by some admirable friends and players, Whalerider and Large Brush Collection- they’re both brilliant anywhere, but have you heard them in a sanctuary?? I can’t believe it’s true! Will you all pinch me when you arrive to let me know I’m alive? Or hug me, that works just as well 😌 Awestruck by the poster by @luckyduckkie ✨ If anyone would like a physical invitation, simply send me your address and it’ll be in the post before you know it 💌 Your friend, Blake <3

This Saturday 4/11, catch LBC *duo edition* performing at @austinforpalestinecoalition ‘s event to raise funds for an art exhibit about Gaza from the Palestinian Museum! ~The details~ “The Austin for Palestine Coalition and Austin Sanctuary Network wants to bring an art exhibit from the Palestinian Museum to Austin — what better way to do that than by making art in community, celebrating Palestinian culture and elevating local immigrant artists!!” This is an all ages event; pay what you can (suggested $5) LBC on at 4:45, with plenty of music, art, and community to follow! 🇵🇸

many people have been saying “where is large brush” and “are you ever going to perform again?” To this I say: Yes. In fact, in the third month of this year we are playing three (3) shows. It is the year of the horse, to which we in large brush say, “giddy up!” 🐎

We are playing several shows for the spring festival - and these will be the last ones we do for an "indefinite while", so you don't want to miss~ To elaborate on the "indefinite while" - after well over 150 shows since the start of 2022, we are slowing things down with LBC, and won't be performing for the next few months. These will also be Rishi's last shows with the band, so when we do emerge from our collective slumber it will be in a new form. Very thankful for Rishi's time in LBC, all we have created together, and our continuing friendship <3 See you all out there :)

Happy 1st birthday to Off Center Thank you for listening to and connecting with these songs. Slowing down to reflect on the journeys these songs have taken us on over the past few years is humbling, and we will forever be grateful for the relationships this music enkindled. See you out there soon.

~happy new year~ so grateful to everyone who supported large brush collection in 2024, listened to (and bought!) our record, housed us on tour, and booked us all over the US and UK. special shout out to @dana_and_alden for bringing us along on a little october tour run and to @maryelizabethremingtonmusic and @borus.borus.borus for coming along on our UK tour we've been quiet the last couple months while nora and ananyaa have been in the throes of wedding related chaos in austin and bangalore but looking forward to seeing y'all back out there in 2025 🤍

lbc duo, reporting for duty once more 🫡 this will be our final performance of the year, & we are humbled & grateful for the opportunity to play a small role in a benefit show this Wednesday evening at @radioeastaustin . community is everything, especially now; join us in support of a beautiful member of our Austin community, Juanita Pickens, who has recently been diagnosed with breast cancer. though the event is free, the suggested $15 donation will go towards assisting Juanita in covering medical costs & other bills accrued during this period of transition. we hope to see you there 🌿

Announcing ATX x AVL, With Love - available now on Bandcamp with proceeds going to Rural Organizing and Resilience (ROAR) NC. Featuring the bike shop version of our song “Forgiveness” (recorded live by Alex Peterson and mixed by Rishi Bajekal) It’s been heartbreaking to watch the devastating aftermath of Hurricane Helene in western North Carolina through cell phone videos posted by friends of friends. As the great feedback loop of a changing climate makes these disasters more unpredictable and frequent and disaster aid is systemically underfunded by congress, strong networks of community support are ever more essential. We’re thankful that Lindsey @littlemazarn and Genevieve @antiquatedjoke asked us to contribute a track alongside so many other great Austin artists to this comp to help raise some money and awareness for the people of NC. Link in our bio 🤍
