“The beginning was humble. But even our humble is honnneyy.” @i_s_cal said it best. We were feeling nostalgic today, flipping through old tours, and whew. The theme of this one? But, God. It’s been almost 10 months since our last studio tour, but yall still came (s/o to our fave videographer @classyvirtualtours ). But trust us…the work hasn’t stopped. God’s been sending the people. We’ve just been unlocking the door. Let’s catch you up: • We added an in-house photographer to the team! Meet Shanelle (@have.hopephotography ). She’s been holding it down with headshots, branding, and those milestone moments. Her style? Chef’s kiss. Her energy? Right on brand. • Speaking of good energy: Ida (@rawmotivephotography )our wedding dream girl meets studio host. If you’ve walked in and immediately felt taken care of, it’s probably thanks to her. She’s giving concierge. Hype team. Behind-the-scenes queen. All in one. (Don’t go poaching her. Just book.) • We launched Creator Days. Collaborative work sessions for creatives to connect, shoot, and build without breaking the bank. It’s been beautiful. More to come. • We’ve been linking up with dope photogs like @themodelinfluencer for styled shoots, workshops, and mini sessions. • New year. New furniture. 80% of the space got a glow-up. All love. • And then there’s @brainflowerstudios . Our very first Muse of the Stu resident. Yaasameen came in with The Heart Show. A full-on art experience celebrating hair as art through photos, film, and sound. Iconic doesn’t even cover it. Oh and Bun B came shot a video in our space. 🤘🏾Who is next, Beyoncé? So yeah. It’s the only thing that doesn’t move — because you’ll want it just where it is. • Plants? We’ve got more. Because if your content doesn’t pop against lush, layered textures, then what are we even doing? • Oh, and peep our new rolling wall. One side = a clean backdrop. The other = a bookshelf moment.
