My Songwriting class was blessed today by a visit from writers Mark Sherrill, Bo Roberts & Chad Wilson. What an honor to have these songwriting legends on campus at @ullafayette today. My students were certainly enriched, o say the least.
Low, consistent volume and tasteful song selection have kept my private party calendar full. I am grateful for the best group of buyers I could ask for. Word of mouth is still king, and I wouldn't have it any other way.
I like where I am right now, and this fits my life perfectly, right now. I'd say I miss the road, but all this prime rib and osso bucco make it hard to want for anything😆
I recently got to share the stage with my step-son, Rowan. And just like a true musician, he immediately spent the money he made on more drum gear🤣. Dude is obsessed!

What a privilege it is to be able to share this space with the next generation, just like my dad and many others did for me when I was coming up. I've shared some amazing stages with some great players through the years, but nothing quite compares to this feeling.
Today, our family lost our best buddy of 11 years, Lucky. He really was a part of our family and his absence is already felt.
