When Fausto made me TM of @independenttrucks around ’04? I had been bugging him about a raise, so instead he gave me a second job. When I started Slap in ‘92 I began laying out Indy ads, so he knew I’d do that and shoot the photos and handle the team- 3 jobs for the price of one. Another dream job really. NHS controlled the distro and merch while Fausto did the manufacturing (Ermico) and the ads (the attitude). I loved the 80’s designs by @morizenfo@brycekanights@crstecykiii so I always kept that in mind laying these out- not sure if that translated, but hey. Present for myself. Wild Style changed everything- kids on the street, doing what they loved, no rules, just like skating. Art, music, B Boys, skating, punk- all the same. Thanks @crazylegsbx for keeping the history alive and accurate.
Had the honor of shooting Mr. Redford at Skywalker ranch in 2010 for the film “Casting By”. Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, The Sting, The Electric Horseman, The Natural- some of my favorites. R.I.P. #RobertRedford
