From Newark to Washington, she has never been afraid to say what others won’t. As one of the youngest members of Congress and the first Black woman to represent NJ-10, she has built a reputation for fighting directly for working people and refusing to back down from big corporations, ICE, and political pressure.
At a time when too many politicians dance around the issues hurting our communities, LaMonica has been clear. She has spoken out forcefully against ICE detention and deportation systems, pushed back on corporate influence in politics, and has been one of the strongest voices in Congress taking on Big Tech and the unchecked expansion of AI infrastructure and data centers.
As the largest youth led climate organization in New Jersey, CRAN knows what it means to fight for the future instead of protecting the status quo. LaMonica understands that young people deserve affordable housing, clean air, public transit, strong public education, and communities built for people instead of corporate profit.
This race is about whether New Jersey continues sending leaders willing to challenge powerful interests and fight unapologetically for working class people. CRAN is proud to stand with LaMonica in this fight.

When I was first elected in 2018, I knew I wanted to create permanent spaces for young people to be involved in public office because of my own early experience in politics.
That’s why I created my Council Member for a Day Program, and now I’m overjoyed to have continued that same initiative with our Congressional Youth Advisory Council!
These amazing, brilliant, bright, beautiful young people from all over the 10th spent six months together bonding, creating, building, and growing.
They are the next generation of leaders, and I could not be more proud to play a small role in their journey.
