On Monday 30 March we will be hosting our Spring tasting, showcasing wines from @cantinagiardino (Italy), @closdesplantes (France), @lammidia (Italy), Sous Le Vegetal (Greece), @sylvainbock (France), as well as some new additions to our portfolio from @domainegoepp (France), @marto_aoc (Germany), and @sylveretrichard (France). This will be our largest release to date, presenting 40 cuvées from the work of these 8 incredibly talented winemakers, so do set aside enough time to be able to go through them all. To make the afternoon a little more fun and special, our friends from @mellow.kl will be coming over to do a tiny food pop-up, serving snacks to ease your palate in between the numerous wines. This event is open to all trade and hospitality professionals so if you work in food or wine and would like to participate, send us a message to let us know your interest!

DAMIEN BUREAU France, Loire Damien Bureau made a small beginning when he got his first plot in Anjou in 2006. Today, he cultivates about 3.5 hectares, which he believes is the perfect size when you are a perfectionist and want to do all the work in the vineyard yourself. Damien Bureau cultivates his vines meticulously and works almost fanatically in the cellar without the use of cultured yeast, fining, filtration or added sulphur. All the wines age in fiberglass with the exception of sweet wines which age in barrels. TOMMY VÉRON France, Loire Tommy Véron is a young winemaker based in the heart of Anjou Noir. It is here that he begins his activity as a winemaker in 2021, in the worthy suite of natural winegrowers in the area. Tommy seeks to produce healthy and ripe grapes in order to be able to vinify them as simply as possible afterwards. The grapes therefore begin to ferment thanks to native yeasts, and he then simply supports them throughout the vinification. Wines are full of fruit and accessible. LAMMIDIA @lammidia Italy, Abruzzo Our wines are made simply with organic grapes fermented spontaneously. We don't use any additive, neither we clarify and filter. We adopt a continuous research and investigation, taking inspiration from many winemakers-friends we met on our path and with whom we continuously have a confrontation: each solution of cultivation, fermentation, storage and aging is a synthesis of our experience constantly evolving.

In the first years we have already tried to use barrique, but, because of our lack of experience and maybe also wines “too simple”, we decided that we didn’t like it and we switched to Amphora. Few years later we have completed changed our approach and, today, most of our whites are aged in barrels, in different sizes. And the amphoras are almost empty. We found that, if you have a great wine, barrels could help you to give it more elegance, depth, structure, cleanliness and stability. To be honest, for our experience, it’s not the same for our reds that age better into inert tanks. Welcome to our latest (half-new) oak barriques! ♥️

Nella famiglia @lammidia , chiedo: 🍇 POSSIBLIMENTE 2021 ~ Pecorino 🍇 PASLEY 2022 ~ Aleatico 🍇 FREKT 2021 ~ Pecorino 🍇ROSH 2022 ~ Montepulciano / Trebbiano Le domaine Lammidia, situé dans les Abruzzes près de Pescara, est un projet fondé par Marco Giuliani et Davide Gentile, deux amis d’enfance passionnés par le vin nature. “Lammidia” signifie en dialecte abruzzais “le mauvais œil”, une référence ironique à leurs débuts chaotiques, où une première cuvée avait mal tourné — selon eux, à cause d’un “mauvais sort” ! Ils produisent des vins sans ou avec très peu d’intervention, ni soufre ajouté, ni collage, ni filtration. Les fermentations sont spontanées avec levures indigènes, et les vins sont vinifiés et élevés principalement en béton ou en amphore. Leur style est souvent libre, énergique et très vivant, avec des jus francs et légèrement troubles, empreints de fruits purs et d’une acidité croquante. Five mercenary grapes that will attack and defeat your thirst. 10.5% light, drink cold. You might notice some of that lime that is left in mojitos or if you are a gastro freak, the Yuzu. Quite possibly, you will simply be like… “my my, the bottle already finished!” Very few left in the world. Ultra rare. @lammidia

Lammidia til Naturvinmessa Bergen 🇮🇹 Lammidia ble startet i 2010 av barndomsvennene Marco Giuliani og Davide Gentile i Abruzzo i Italia. De lager vin med et tydelig mål om å skape ærlige, levende viner uten tilsetninger, bare druer og tid. Etter en liten stund borte fra Norge er de endelig tilbake i polhyllene og kommer til Bergen til vinteren. Smak vinene deres på Naturvinmessa Bergen 17. januar 🍷
