Happy Mother’s Day to every woman allelujah 🤍
I have had the privilege and grace of giving birth to three children, but I’ve learned that giving birth is not the only qualification for motherhood. Some can give birth but struggle to mother, while some may never give birth yet carry the purest motherly love within them.
I am surrounded by incredible women who have faced their own struggles on the journey to birthing their own children with little success, and sometimes I find myself thinking: they are wonderful. I see the way they care for children, the patience they show, the love they give so effortlessly, even more than some biological mothers do.
So today, I celebrate every woman who mothers. Every woman who nurtures, protects, comforts, guides, and shows love to innocent souls when no one is watching.
Whether you gave birth or not, if you love, care, nurture, and mother others with sincerity, today is for you too.
