This track “Maximum Overdrive” is from my old band @american_killers . This released almost 10 years ago to somewhat deaf ears. Maybe heavy guitar rock was out of vogue at the time or maybe it actually sucks haha. I thought it was cool and still dig it. #We had made this video from old b movie and archival footage. I built a cart for my Otari Tape Machine. In typical Joe fashion I decided it was a better idea to make something than to just buy something. Flash forward a few weeks and I’ve inevitably spent more money and way more time than initially anticipated. But I’m pretty stoked on how it turned out. There’s definitely some f-ups but I’m pretty happy with my first real furniture wood working project. With a little help from some friends it came out pretty decent. Walnut veneer ply and edged with wenge. I drafted the design in vectorworks. @gse I might need to return my “one less tape deck” sticker.
