We started our band doing film scores and experimental tracks, but pushed ourselves with this album to make structured songs with lyrics and hooks and all sorts of fun sounds. Over the last year plus we sent each other hundreds of recordings back and forth, thousands of messages, and spent too many hours to count just working on it and trying to make it better.
It’s been really rewarding doing this music project and playing more shows and leaping into the unknown of being performing artists. Scary but amazing. Feels like living! We will continue on and thank you for rocking with us. Album link on our page!!!

Playing a billiards hall show on Thursday and selling the album/zine starting Saturday. All just short term info! We will keep shredding and making stuff for a while ✌️

We recently scored their feature documentary @strayembersfilm which will come out next year as well. Can't wait for you to see/listen to this beauitful movie. Any chance we have to rip and make heartfelt sounds means a lot to us!!!
This track captures one of our many different sounds. Back in 2020, we (danthony) started making music together by sending instrumental demos back and forth over email. The guitar track is one of those demos, and then ~5 years later we finally added some piano, bass, and vocals to make it a real tune. Fast forward to now, we have improved quite a lot of players and have more songs than we can even keep track of... We hope you like it and enjoy the rest of our record when we put it out. Indie rock, experimental art pop, and cinematic soundscapes! We get down on all sorts of stuff and are having a blast making all these tracks.

"let's move so slow that roots will grow (and stay for 100 years)!!!"
Garras de Bozo. This past weekend was so special. We were lucky to perform an original silent film score over a 99 year old Colombian film called Garras de Oro. The silent picture is the first ever explicitly anti imperialist film which is pretty cool, historic, and meaningful.
We were asked by the good folks at @cineolafilms (@d.e.diaz and @dianuchis ) to bring our film composing skills to the project and the result was really really wonderful. We pushed ourselves to record a nearly hour long wall to wall score in 2 weeks time! Then rehearsed a few times and let it rip for a really special room of people at the Roxie. Wow.
This was our biggest gig to date and we couldn’t have asked for it to sound any better. Being in the front row live scoring a film felt like flying a spaceship. And the support we received from the audience was heartwarming. We hope to do this more and are determined as ever to keep ripping music and finding unique ways to share our noise. Film is a lovely medium and we look forward to what’s ahead.

Nobozos background story:
Our first time ever playing together in person was in 2021 for a short film called If You Hum at the Right Frequency. We had been recording demos and emailing each other tracks back and forth during lockdown, but eventually we made it outside into the world and let it rip. This day was a big one for us and we hope to continue the energy forward with new performances and projects. We are back to playing together again a couple times a week - rehearsing and improvising different long form sets so we can play live at music/film/art/poetry events.
Big thanks to our friends who are hyping us up and showing enthusiasm as we start this new chapter.

We are nobozos! Aka Dan and Anthony (Danthony).
nobozos is a new experimental music and live score film project! We blend synths, guitars, and poetic film clips thru fx pedals to create layered soundscapes. Or whatever! We try our best to make noise from the heart.
We’re wrapping up our first record and rehearsing a live audiovisual set so we can start playing gigs! Our goal is to perform live in different music/art/film settings in the near future! Holler at us.
