We took a quick stroll through the garden and just had to share the view. This peaceful oasis is actually nourished by the recycled water we treated right next door at Tillman Water Reclamation Plant. It’s a beautiful reminder of what happens when we work together to protect our resources.

Exciting news for Council District 7! LASAN’s Citywide #Brownfields Program has officially begun soil cleanup at a City-owned lot on North Sharp Avenue. After sitting vacant for years, this site is now on its way to becoming a vibrant community #urbanfarm once remediation is complete.
A huge thank you to @mrodcd7 for championing this effort, along with the incredible support from our LASAN Brownfields team. Looking forward to seeing this space transformed into a valuable community asset!

The S.A.F.E. Center at UCLA is back in action starting tomorrow! If you’re moving out of the dorms or just cleaning out your apartment, remember: e-waste, medications and chemicals don’t belong in the black bin. Drop them off at our SAFE Center instead. It’s easy, free, and protects our local environment.
