New schools mean new traditions! Knox had his Kindergarten Kaleidoscope program (Kindergarten promotion) last week and it was so precious to see him in his new setting 💚🤍🐻 “The Very Hungry Caterpillar” theme was especially sweet and very fitting for all the growth he has made this year 🐛🦋
We have been so proud of him (and Luke) throughout this transition and grateful to everyone at OHES for helping us acclimate to our new school!

The boys and I started 2026 with a hike, trying to soak up this warm weather and beautiful Georgia scenery while we can.
The last photo is from a few days ago. While exploring @thebighousemuseum@thelemabean and I found a copy of this note Duane Allman wrote on New Years 1969. We both commented on how beautiful and poignant it was to read right before today and I wanted to share it ❤️

A Very Jacobs Christmas: Part Two; Funcle Cody and Auntie Midge Visit Edition.
Uncle Cody and Auntie Midge got to enjoy the sights, sounds, and tastes of middle Georgia, all through the eyes of their nephews and what a time we had, packing in as much as we could while they were here. A trip to @rigbysfun for putt-putt, @monkeyjoes_warnerrobins for Knoxy to burn some energy, lunch at @handhmacon , dinner @oliversmacon , a visit to @thebighousemuseum for a Macon bucket list item for me, and of course no Christmas is complete in Macon without a walk through the @maconchristmaslights 🎄❤️🎅 Grammy J even got her visit to @bucees 🦫
In this holiday season, we are so grateful that God has blessed us so abundantly with our family, friends, and places that make our hearts so full.
A Very Jacobs Christmas: Part One.
This past month has been an absolute whirlwind! Here’s a quick snippet of some Christmas fun, including Christmas Eve Service at @northwaychurchmacon , the beginning of our visit with Grammy J, supporting @murrayslightfoundation and meeting Santa and Mrs Claus (Knox asked if he was the real Santa, to which Santa told Knox to pull his beard to check 🎅), Luke’s Christmas Show, and his field trip to Walmart to shop for children who are spending Christmas in the hospital, followed by lunch at Mellow Mushroom and a birthday party for Jesus. Plus we’ve been trying to soak up this beautiful Georgia weather before we make the move north. It’s been quite the month!
We followed-up Knox’s Thanksgiving parade with Luke and his classmates production of “Jonathan’s Thanksgiving” - a @fpdmacon 3rd grade tradition ❤️🖤
They worked for over a month to bring the play to life and did an amazing job under the direction of their sweet teacher, @angie_free_ !
At a time of year where we’re encouraged to remember our blessings, we are so grateful for both boys to be surrounded by nurturing and loving adults and such sweet friends ❤️
