I’m beyond excited and incredibly nervous to say that my first production is coming out next Wednesday.
I’ve created my own take on boys be kko’s Pico EP which we were so fortunate to release on Labyrinth Records last year.
This remix is my interpretation of the original track, which is heavily influenced by many years spent in South Africa. The artwork pays homage to that, with its combination of the Japanese garden from the original EP adapted with a South African night’s sky.
Huge respect and love to @boysbekko who is the mastermind behind this music. His work inspired me to do this and without his artistry, none of this would have happened.

"boys be kko is a lovably eccentric artist and key figure in the Tokyo scene. He co-runs the Kids Return label, design studio and event brand and dropped a great album on Atomnation in 2021.
He debuted on this label last year and now returns with a second EP that is aimed squarely at the club. As is often his way, the title cut mixes up beats and Japanese-inspired instrumentation into a playful and party starting groove.
It's full of left-of-centre musical charm and then 'Kanari' explores a darker sound with a percolating groove and edgy chords that keep you in suspense throughout. It's a heads-down trip into the next dimension."
