“The watermelon is a direct symbolic representation of the flag of Gaza because of its colors.
Here, a piece of it is bit off and the watermelon is held by the hands of a monster that’s wanting to eat out the entire fruit - a reference to those in power who want to occupy the land of Gaza.
The leaves growing through are olive leaves, which is their major crop and represents their deep rooted connection to the land.
The leaves here are used as a symbol of hope and growth. No matter the attempt at occupation, the people like the olive trees will remain resilient, grow and prosper.
Behind this is the pattern of the traditional head scarf - Keffiyeh, a potent symbol of identity and resistance.
It is a fishnet pattern that represents the people’s connection to the Mediterranean while the bold line above it represents trade routes. These scarfs have come to symbolise their struggle for self determination, justice and freedom.
When the first Nakba (catastrophe) in 1948 took place, where the people were forcefully displaced, they took their keys with them, sure they would return. It is also passed down from generations as a symbol of preservation of their identity and history.
The people, even today, are still holding on to their key, determined to return one day.
And the key here represents their right to return.
We as humans may have failed and turned a blind eye, but, the Sun and Moon are witness to the injustice to the people of Gaza and their land.”

We're hearing that many people don't associate the @inner_circle_convention with Unity Gathering. Some people, upon receiving the flyer, don't associate the project with us at all, despite the lineup being quite typical for Unity, not to mention the unique graphics from our one and only @animashadesign But maybe we have to explain our projects structure step by step 😉
So, let's clarify!
Our main project is called UNITY COMMUNITY
It was officially established after the last Unity Gathering edition in 2024 as a parent project. This happened because several components began to circulate around Unity, fulfilling various functions. Thus, under the UNITY COMMUNITY umbrella, we can find the most well-known:
🌀 Unity Gathering (more details on the next slide),
🌀Inner Circle Convention (whose concept and name will be explained in subsequent presentations),
🌀Unity Local Meeting (created with our indoor editions in mind),
🌀 Unity/Audity - our official label where you can find, among other things, released and upcoming Unity Gathering compilations.

As you can see there are lots of various names around but the same people are behind them 😘

Biorhythms is a couple duo who find their muse in nature’s cycles and circadian rhythm, the biological timing that governs shifts in our daily momentum.
The project embodies a union of two distinct energies coming together as one expression.
The duality of their energies mirror the essence of Shiva and Shakti, manifested through sound, with their contrasting sensibilities merging into a single musical direction.
On the night of Mahashivratri, Biorhythms join us at the Mahashivratri Gathering as they channel the pulse of the universe, translating it into hypnotic compositions. 🎛️

A collaborative effort where some of the most wonderful artists have come together to create a sonic journey in solidarity with the people of Gaza.
I had the honour to create the cover art for this album, a silent prayer and a project that is close to my heart.
