When I realized I was following the 2025 prompts for #ourplanetweek2026 I was like “wellp.” I had already done the first day and written out my text so I knew I had to roll with it. So seeing Ocean Glowing on the 2026 prompts felt like that moment in life where your brain goes “lucky” 😂

Hello! Hello! Hi! Hi….
I love the idea behind this challenge created by @byjessicaelena #repostyourart , as an artist challenges are great for improving yourself but can sometimes become overwhelming when you have a lot going on. So what I extra love about this one is that it creates a space for you to look back on all your art over the years and see how much you’ve grown and what pieces still hold weight in your heart.
Like these two pieces from my #picturebooks I realized all my stories tend to share this moment (in their own way) where the characters meet and I know I did that unconsciously, but when I started realizing this I laughed because my 3rd picturebook, that I’m currently working on, has a moment like this too 😂
