“this is a recording from a dj set i played last october at a small renegade party in the mammoth mountains called cws. i was invited by my friends r.downstairs and daniel to play, and daniel told me that if i did one thing before leaving la, it had to be experiencing the natural beauty of the site. i’m so glad i listened - it was easily one of the most stunning places i’ve ever been to, let alone played.
there was live projection mapping across the rocks by artist sophie baker, which subtly lit up the whole space and gave it this surreal, futuristic, almost otherworldly feeling. it was one of those moments where everything just aligned: open-air amongst nature, an intimate yet lively crowd, incredible visuals, and a really free, intuitive energy on the decks.
technically, the mix isn’t perfect, but i quite like the imperfections - they reflect the rawness and freedom of playing without overthinking.”

after 10 years working at Listen Up, i’m saying farewell as i take the leap into the world of freelance pr and communications. i’m also preparing to leave LA over the next two months 😢 at the end of january, i’ll be leaving the city i’ve called home for almost seven years and embarking on a new adventure in Barcelona.
to say that Listen Up has shaped me - not only as a pr professional but as a person - is an understatement. i’ve grown so much over the past decade and it’s thanks to the incredible people i’ve met and worked with who have contributed to that growth.
while the decision to leave LA wasn’t easy, it’s feels right and necessary for me. i’m grateful to have had this experience and immensely thankful to everyone who made me feel so accepted, supported, & loved - i’m lucky to have met you, you’re the reason i stayed for so long and the reason these years were as special as they were! i really hope to see as many friends as possible over the next two months…no doubt there will be a party to end this chapter 😉
i’m very proud of what i’ve achieved over the last 10 years - i’m looking forward to being closer to my family & friends in europe and making more memories! 🤍
