The ground-floor of @longbridgecafe serves as a public interface. A whimsical Captain Leo is there to greet you, inviting you to enjoy specialty coffee, explore an art exhibition, or shop for bespoke lifestyle goods. Floating digital displays, inspired by a stock market heat map, reimagines cold financial data as fluid media art.
The first floor is a collaborative space bathed in natural light, designed to bring both new and experienced members together. The versatile layout and bespoke, brand-coloured furniture are perfect for hosting events like investment academies. The cantilevered glass corner on this floor, resembling a ship’s bow, offers a panoramic perspective of the iconic Peninsula Hotel and Space Museum. 📸@stevenkophotography@xinxin83@blowhongkong@lightoriginstudio
Recently we transformed @longbridgehk investing app into Longbridge Café, integrating stock trading with art, tech, coffee, and beer. Anchored at a prominent corner in Tsim Sha Tsui, the 8,500-square-foot café spans three levels. Its striking facade features three monumental yellow columns that suspend the first floor like a bridge, while a 30-meter-wide glass wall opens the interior to the city, as a nod to Longbridge’s commitment to openness and transparency.

Jury's comments:
"I support the use of upcycled materials in design development to demonstrate how they contribute to sustainability and reduce plastic use through creativity. This approach is more effective than many conceptual
ideas because it is exciting, innovative, and practical. It shows that sustainable design can be realistic and functional, not just theoretical. Using upcycled materials also promotes environmental responsibility and can inspire others to adopt eco-friendly practices.
Overall, it’s a meaningful way to combine creativity with sustainability, making a positive impact on both the environment and design innovation."
Revitalisation of Tsui Ping River has just received The Japan Good Design Award 2025! This award is a huge encouragement to our project team, including our client DSD, our collaborators Atkins, @inverselighting@kimhungdesign , @spawtonarchitecture , and SCENIC. We are grateful to the jury, who recognized the project's contribution in transforming a drab drainage channel into a waterfront landscape, and the improvement it made for the ecology, biodiversity, and the community, bringing our city closer to nature.
The global climate crisis is here: melting icebergs, California wildfires, and now, back-to-back typhoons hitting our city. ⛈️
The Revitalization of Tsui Ping River is our commitment to building urban resilience. It’s more than a facelift; it’s future-proofing our city. The infrastructure is specifically designed to withstand extreme weather, safeguarding our city from heavy rain and flooding.
Behind this critical infrastructure is a group of dedicated experts who work tirelessly during typhoon season to monitor and protect our homes and livelihood. Grateful and honored to work alongside these experts in the Tsui Ping River project!

Blending art, nature and technology, “Wander Rings” is a lighting art installation we designed for Tsui Ping River to create a vibrant and dynamic neighborhood. Responsive to viewers’ movement, they unveil the symbol of infinity, evoking limitless possibilities. After sunset, the ambient light show and flowing water create a captivating dance, casting mesmerizing hues upon the river—an enchanting convergence of innovation and artistic expression.
We worked closely with @kimhungdesign to create signage, balustrades, and thematic manholes to bring Tsui Ping River’s new and vibrant branding to life. The pedestrian paths are paved with bricks in a gradient of colors, forming vibrant pathways that connect the neighborhoods.
