When nearly 100 people with neuromuscular disease and their loved ones come together to advocate for change, something magical happens. The legislation we advocate for has the power to change the lives of those we hold dear in the neuromuscular community. We are our own best advocates, wielding the power of lived experience and testimony; it is imperative that those with disabilities are present in every step of this process.
