With a preference for Deathrock, Gothic, Postpunk, and cinematic horror soundtracks, live remixing, VJing, and his own brand of musical ‘audities’, DJ Splatter is native to spinning vinyl from an extensive international collection. Mark Splatter works with many of the bands he plays in his sets collaboratively, providing music reviews, interviews, photo and video work for his website Deathrock.com founded in 1998. In 2000 he founded Ghoul School in Hollywood with partners DJ Dingbat (Release The Bats) and Fate Fatal (The Deep Eynde) a weekly deathrock, gothic and punk dance club. This also spawned the radio show first broadcast on Pirate Cat Radio 89.9, then via Internet streaming radio, broadcast 24/7 until 2010. Now Radio Ghoul School is a weekly streaming show on the Twitch platform. 🦇🦇🦇🦇🦇🦇🦇 DJ SCARECROW JOE DJ Scarecrow, AKA Scarecrow Joe is a veteran DJ at Obscura Undead from St. Louis where they hosted Moonshadows as a resident DJ for The Haunt bar and the organizer for Chœur Des Morts with their fellow DJ team at Obscura Undead West and ran the hour long radio show “Radio Undead” for Wax Radio Indianapolis. 🦇🦇🦇🦇🦇🦇🦇 DJ STEVE SKELETAL Steve Skeletal has been involved with the goth/deathrock music scene since he was a teenager. He grew up mostly in Kentucky, and relocated to Boston, Massachusetts when he was 18 years old. After moving to California, he started singing in bands, and currently fronts Only Theatre Of Pain. Last month, @dvilswhorehaus transformed @kisodtla into a full blown blacklight hallucination for ULTRAVIOLENT. Neon skin. Glow blood. Bodies melting beneath UV lights until the entire club looked radioactive. Hosted by @vogadvil , the night spiraled into fluorescent chaos as @theallystarr and @raeoblivion tore through the venue with performances soaked in neon filth, latex carnage, and glowstick delirium. Every corner of KISO became a fever dream of writhing bodies, smeared body paint, fluorescent creatures, and basslines vibrating through the walls while the crowd lost themselves under the blacklights.
